CJC-1295 half-life & how long it lasts

By Melvin Morina · Updated 2026-07-27 · not FDA approved

CJC-1295 (with DAC) has a half-life of about 7 days (168 hours), reaches peak concentration around 24 hours after a dose, and is practically cleared from the body about 35 days (840 hours) after the last dose. Only the DAC form is long-acting. Without DAC (mod GRF 1-29) the half-life is minutes, not days — the two get confused constantly.
