Pep AI alternatives: an honest comparison
Stay with Pep AI if you are happy paying a subscription and want the whole peptide and GLP-1 feature set in one place. It holds 4.72★ across 2,506 ratings, which is real evidence that the fundamentals work. Look elsewhere if you want the dose calculator and estimated levels without a subscription, or you want to see the sources behind the half-lives you are shown.
When to stay with Pep AI
Wide advertised feature set. Its listing states a paid subscription is required. Switching trackers means leaving your dose history behind, so a small feature gap is rarely worth it. The reasons that genuinely justify a move are structural: your medication does not fit the app's model, or a capability you need every week simply is not there.
When another app fits better
- You reconstitute vials. Pep AI does not advertise a reconstitution calculator. Bo, PeptidePal, Pep AI, Regimen and OptiPin do.
- You take peptides alongside a GLP-1. GLP-1-first apps are built around one branded medication; peptide-first apps expect several compounds on different schedules.
- You want to pay nothing. Injectly and Glippy advertise no in-app purchases at all.
- You want sourced estimated levels. Bo publishes the half-life and time-to-peak behind every curve with a link to the FDA label or study, and marks where human data is limited. See the chart.
The comparison
A checkmark means the feature is advertised by the developer; a dash means it is not advertised, which is not proof of absence.

About Bo
Bo is my app, so here is the honest shape of it: it is built for people reconstituting vials who also want food and weight in one place, it has a free calculator and free estimated levels, and it has no cloud sync and no Android version. If either of those is a dealbreaker, Pep AI or one of the others above is the better choice, and I would rather say so than have you find out after switching.

Educational information only. Bo is a tracking app, not a medical device, and nothing here is medical advice, a dosing recommendation, or a substitute for your prescriber. Half-lives are population averages from the sources cited on each row; individual clearance varies with body weight, kidney and liver function, and other medication.
